End of Euro Update

First off, a big round of applause for Italy (Parm and Milanista) who won Euro 2012 and for Chile (Menly Men and Catmac) who won the Friendly World Cup!!! Italy avenged their gameweek 2 defeat to Croatia (Tommytour and Super Dunny) and won the final by a score of 109-92. Chile defeated Switzerland (James_Fitz and JKisthe1) by a score of 85-70. We will have more details of how these match-ups played out later but just wanted to congratulate the winners in the meantime. The winners should check the Super Cups tab under international for details about that.

Secondly we want to thank all of you for participating. We know we had a great time and we hope you did as well. We also hope you all enjoyed the 2v2 format as something a bit different and more interesting. If you have any feedback about either of the competitions please either leave a comment or use the contact us tab at the top of the page to let us know as we appreciate any feedback or thoughts you have for us.

Thank you to everyone who has followed the site. This is important as you will receive email notification of new posts which will ensure that you don’t miss when we open registration. While we have not finalized our plans yet, we are tentatively planning on opening registration within about a week or so after the FPL game opens. In the meantime, stay tuned for a finals round up and the the Euro 2012 Order of Extreme Valor award and perhaps a few other articles along the way.

We are still be looking for a few more contributors so if you are even remotely interested, please drop us a message under the contact us tab.

One last request: If you can give us some feedback on the 5th league that would be very helpful as we want to try to pick 20 teams that everyone wants/agrees on.

Thanks once again to everyone who participated in Euro 2012 and the Friendly World Cup! We hope you’ll tackle our competitions for the 2012-2013 FPL season with even more enthusiasm and excitement.
