Transfer Window Simulation Update

Just a brief update to keep you all posted on where we are at for the Transfer Window Simulation.

First off we want to let everyone know that we have decided to revoke the captaincy rule (double value for highest value player) because we felt that the gap in value between Messi + Ronaldo and the other players was too large that doubling this gap would give two teams an unfair advantage.

Secondly, while Isacki’s interface is still a work in progress, we wanted to give you a sneak peak of the general idea of what it might look like. We’re still looking to add several more features but we think it will be a great tool for all participates! We’re particularly excited about the chat feature which will increase participate interaction by allowing you to banter or discuss swap deals with other teams and recruit additional scouts. Click here for an idea of the basic design. The ticker at the top will display headline news cycling across the screen.

If you have yet to sign up, click here to register for the game. Just a reminder that anyone interested in being an owner needs to have their application in by tomorrow (May 29th) at 11:59pm UK time. We will have the owners list announced by the 31st of the month at the latest but will do our best to get it out as soon as possible. As soon as the list is out, the game is live and owners may begin recruiting their manager, head scout, and additional scouts.

For those of you who have no clue what’s going on (I’m looking at you towelie), or need a refresher of the rules and other details of this game, click here.

Stay posted for the owners list and any other updates. We hope you’ll all sign up and join in the fun.

Cheers!
